r-bioc-hilbertvis software package provides GNU R package to visualise long vector data, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install r-bioc-hilbertvis
r-bioc-hilbertvis is installed in your system.
Make ensure the r-bioc-hilbertvis package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep r-bioc-hilbertvis *
You will get with r-bioc-hilbertvis package name, version, architecture and description in a table
